After graduation, she worked in television and radio. In 1992, Peggy obtained her Series 7 and Series 63 Securities Licenses and worked with top producers at Prudential Securities and Robinson-Humphrey-Smith Barney in the sale of stocks, bonds and mutual funds. Peggy received her law degree from Barry University School of Law cum laude, where she served as Managing Editor of the Law Review. Most of her cases have involved allegations of product liability, personal injury, wrongful death, and/or premises liability. Along the way, she has drawn upon her business background of leadership, service, and teamwork. Peggy has attained awards, such as being selected as a Rising Star by Florida Super Lawyers for three consecutive years. She has been inducted into the International Association of Defense Counsel, which according to its website is comprised of a worldwide membership of 2,500 invitation-only peer-reviewed leading corporate and insurance lawyers. She was selected as a Florida Legal Elite in 2013. She is an active member of the Transportation Lawyers Association, where she enjoys her work as Chair of the Diversity Sub-Committee. She is also a member of the Florida Bar Animal Law Section.
